Tomorrow night we’re having an early graduation dinner at Netherfield and I have prepared a speech for everyone. If you don’t mind, I’d like to share it with you. Mind you, it will probably be revised again before the dinner.
Good evening loved ones. Tonight we have all come together from different parts of the country to reunite on behalf of someone very special in our lives. Lizzie, you have grown to be a beautiful, professional, and intelligent woman right before my eyes. Graduation is upon us and I can’t help that time needs to speed and slow simultaneously.
Soon, our dearest Lizzie will be leaving us to build greater things and I realize that we can’t keep you here forever. You belong out there in the world. We are so proud of you. I’m proud of you.
I love you. To Lizzie.
What do you think?
